SAP Functional Specialist – Logistics Execution / SD

Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Specialist with a strong background in SAP Logistics Execution and Sales & Distribution, including solid knowledge of SAP MM, SAP EWM integrations, 3PL WMS environments, Supply Chain processes, and Retail / Wholesale operations.

The role focuses on end-to-end SAP solution delivery, functional design, configuration, integration, issue resolution, and optimization across inbound and outbound B2B logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete software implementation lifecycle, covering SAP configuration, test preparation and execution, deployment into test and production environments, and support before and after go-live.
• Take responsibility for resolving complex issues within the Inbound and Outbound B2B backbone, working together with AM teams where required.
• Improve and optimize existing Inbound and Outbound B2B backbone solutions with a focus on performance, stability, and operational efficiency.

Required Technical Experience

• 12+ years of experience in SAP Logistics Execution / SAP SD, including participation in at least 3 implementation projects and 2 support projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP MM, particularly in relation to STO processes.
• Good practical understanding of SAP ECC integration with SAP EWM and 3PL WMS systems.
• Strong experience with Warehouse-to-Store and Warehouse-to-Warehouse inventory movements.
• Previous experience working with Retail clients or within Retail organizations.
• Strong understanding of overall Supply Chain and logistics processes.
• Strong experience with SAP Logistics Execution and SAP SD configuration.

• Strong experience with major enhancements involving RICEFW objects, including the use of APIs, BAPIs, and BADIs.
• Ability to design and define custom SAP solutions.
• Experience with e-transport solutions.

Good to Have

• ABAP debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP with external systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly for documenting and presenting solution and design improvements.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
• Previous experience with SAP Retail is considered an advantage.
